... is actually a floor plan for the administration department in our school. It was designed especially for participants of entrance exams and for first-year students. For them, it is sometimes difficult to find their ways around. They are scared and confused, thus disoriented. Papers have to be filed, documents delivered in time, and it all happens in anxiety and under stress.
The goal was to show sympathy and compassion for their situation, and to be helpful by being clear and simple. At the same time, it puts a smile on their faces, surprising them by using the ordinary extraordinarily. Eggs symbolize the sameness of us all, including authority figures, first names give a feeling of familiarity. Ladders symbolize the staircases, and the chick, well, it speaks for itself.
You might be lost, but you are loved. Don't be scared, we will take care of you!
